ACTING COACH



fOR DECADES, jAY HAS BEEN VIEWED AS A COACH AND MENTOR THROUGHOUT THE ACTING COMMUNITY AND HOLLYWOOD. hE HAS AN INNATE ABILITY TO BREAK DOWN CONCEPT AND IDEA DRIVEN PERFORMANCES AND DRIVE ACTORS OUT OF THEIR HEAD, TRULY EMPHASIZING LISTENING AND CONNECTION. HE CONSISTENTLY TEACHES bEING IN THE MOMENT AND LETTING GO TO DISCOVER WHAT YOU ARE TRULY CAPABLE OF CREATING.



From children to adults, regardless of age, Jay has a gift of seeing what other coaches cannot. He can identify moments of connection that most miss, but is able to break those down and work with an actor from within to train them on better understanding their own awareness. He teaches his students how to be affected, real, available, and discover what happens when an actor truly lets go. Emotions are simply energy in motion. The heart can only beat in the moment, not the past or the future.



HOURLY 1 0N 1 - $125





The hourly rate is for actors seeking Jay's coaching for a one-off event such as an audition, a performance, a screen-test, a role, etc. Sessions are done in 1 hour increments with half hour increments at Jay's discretion. Classes at this rate are individual only. If you would like to work with a scene partner, please reach out to Jay for specifics.



MONTHLY 1 ON 1 - $400





The monthly option provides a more regular cadence for coaching sessions. This provides a student with 4 1-hour individual classes per month and will save $100 off of the regular hourly rate. Classes would be scheduled at a recurring day and time with payment due before the first class of every month.



SCENE PARTNER - $450





For sessions involving a scene partner, Jay requires a minimum 2 hours. The $225 rate covers 2 people and is an hourly rate. The total for 2 hours of scene study would be $450. You can provide your own scene or allow Jay to select one for you. For additional people and time, please reach out to Jay for specifics.
